Roles and Responsibilities
• Support operations team with day-to-day requests related to Web Application functionality, user experience and performance.
• Write clean, efficient, well-commented code.
• Work autonomously and be comfortable executing features from start to finish.
• Involved in all aspects of the application development lifecycle: Idea, Development, QA, Documentation, Implementation, and Integration.
• Development, maintenance, troubleshooting and enhancements of the existing Web and Mobile applications and services.
• Adhere to project schedules and effectively report progress to meet challenging deadlines.
• Write unit tests & review code before merging.
• To design and develop PHP based web applications.
• Strong coding skills, good logical and problem-solving skills are mandatory.
• Troubleshoot, debug and write software.
• To follow industry best practices in web development.
• Delivery-focused with a good eye for detail (UI/UX).
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
Desired Candidate Profile
• Proficient in PHP programming and CodeIgniter frameworks and any other framework.
• Proficient in HTML5, jQuery, and CSS, JavaScript.
• Good knowledge of relational databases and queries, especially MySQL.
• Good knowledge of third-party API integrations.
• Good knowledge of version control (Git, Bitbucket).
• Expertise in developing highly scalable, performant, and highly available high volume traffic web applications.
• Experience with caching techniques/technologies (Memcache, Redis, Varnish) and CDN (Fastly, Cloudflare, Akamai) integrations.
• Understanding of AWS services - S3, EC2, Elastic Load Balancer and CDNs.
• Expertise in the development of Micro Services and design patterns
