About the role:
We are seeking a Sr. Full Stack Developer to lead the development of scalable software solutions for hoichoi. As a senior developer, you will take ownership of the entire SDLC, from architecture to deployment, ensuring high-quality, efficient, and secure solutions that support hoichoi’s growth and innovation.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design and architecture of highly scalable web services and applications, ensuring technical excellence and optimal performance. Develop and maintain complex server-side network components to ensure seamless operations and scalability. Collaborate closely with front-end teams to integrate backend systems and enhance the overall user experience. Architect and manage a robust Content Management System (CMS) and scalable API platform for efficient content distribution. Design and implement backend services for business-critical processes like search, recommendations, rights management, monetization, identity management, SSO, authorization, and authentication. Provide strategic direction while working with third-party technology services to ensure smooth integrations and platform expansion. Drive the development of high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code. Optimize server-side performance for handling large datasets and enhancing system scalability. Implement advanced security protocols, data protection measures, and storage solutions to safeguard user data and ensure platform security. Lead the diagnosis, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex issues, providing mentorship and support to junior developers. Architect backend API services within a serverless framework to ensure scalability, performance, and efficiency. Champion the use of microservices architecture to build flexible and modular applications. Work cross-functionally with tech and product teams to align short-term objectives with long-term technical goals, driving execution across platforms.
Must-Have Skills:
Expertise in Node.js and ReactJS frameworks for developing and maintaining scalable web applications. Proven experience with MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) for full-stack development. Proficiency in NoSQL databases for efficient data storage, management, and retrieval. Proficiency in gRPC and JSON for seamless inter-component communication. Strong understanding of Elasticsearch for efficient search capabilities and data indexing. Hands-on experience with the AWS ecosystem, including cloud deployments and Lambda functions. Solid knowledge of DevOps practices and web security, ensuring a secure, reliable platform. Expertise in API development and deployment, enabling smooth integration with internal and external services. Strong unit and integration testing skills to maintain high-quality, stable applications. Ability to mentor and guide junior developers, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
