Job Description
The Corporate Systems Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for building or modifying applications to specification. This role must have knowledge in all stages of software development in an agile environment. This role requires collaboration with other engineers and developers while following guidance from senior leadership and management. This role is expected to understand and know how to troubleshoot various layers of the infrastructure for internal applications and reporting systems critical to the business.
We are looking for someone who is strong with web applications and .Net core framework.
Essential Responsibilities:
Execute full life cycle and application software development.
Work with teams and managers to build software solutions.
Create scalable software, website interfaces, workflows, applications, and reports.
Write effective APIs and Restful services.
Troubleshoot, debug, optimize and fix software, as necessary.
Create and follow security and data protection settings.
Design and develop client-side and server-side architecture.
Tailor and deploy processes and metrics.
Creating servers and databases.
Ensuring cross-platform optimization.
Writing clean, functional code on the front-end and back-end.
Write technical documentation.
Collaborating with other engineers/developers to create solutions to provided requirements and specifications.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or Information Technology or related fields preferred.
Experience
Requirements:
5+ years of proven experience as a Full Stack Software Developer or similar role.
Familiar with common stacks.
Knowledge of multiple languages and libraries (e.g. .Net framework, C#, JSON, JQuery, JavaScript, Angular, Node.js, MVC, HTML, XML, Bootstrap etc).
Familiarity with SQL Server, MySQL, IIS.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Attention to detail and ability to understand workflow.
Cloud-based technology and database experience is a plus
