Responsibilities
Provide support and create new features of an existing cloud based software application written in JAVA that utilizes mathematical algorithms to predict equipment failure rates based data collected from ETL jobs from a variety of sources, and also to predict team headcount needed for reliable operation
Seek opportunities to improve the architecture when necessary to reduce resources need for support
Candidate will be expected to work directly with users/customers to understand user and app requirements, and develop tasks to meet customer needs
The candidate will be working in a small team on-premise to be able to quickly respond to application issues when the need arises
Position’s accountabilities include gathering application requirements, developing and supporting software solutions, and interacting and supporting customers directly
