must have strong leadership qualities and passion for engineering.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
In the framework of the overall Airbus strategic offshore initiatives in India, the jobholder will be
accountable for following objectives within Engineering - Simulation perimeter:

To manage day to day operations delivery of commitments in agreed terms Ensure
preparedness of the team for current and future competencies aligned to the company
objectives
Ensure adequate project management and optimization /planning of resources
Ensure adherence to defined processes and methods
Anticipation and management of risks / issues
Promote a culture of creativity, innovation and collaboration
Constantly monitor and improve effectiveness of the team
Strategic business development with internal customers
Implementation of E&C in the team
Ensure engagement and motivation of the team
Promote Airbus values in the team
RESPONSIBILITIES
The jobholder will be responsible for following items:

Align with hierarchy to achieve yearly business target for the group
Reporting of activities in the team
Strategic planning for the team along company vision and strategy
Implement efficient realization of new business opportunities
Build and maintain healthy relationship with all stakeholders including customers
Implement collaborative culture among and beyond the team
Contribute in effective implementation of company policies
Define the means to deliver on agreed commitments
Contribute towards company goals and priorities
Drive in annual interview and provide continuous feedback to team members
Actively contribute /support development of team members
Adequate communication in both direction of hierarchy
Manage day to day operational risks and escalations
Actively pursues to develop technical/proj mgmt responsibility of higher significance
DIMENSIONS/CONSTRAINTS
The job requires strategic thinking, decision-making capability, skills for synthesis and
ability to communicate in a strongly multi-cultural environment
The job requires traveling across the globe (often Europe) as necessary related to
business needs
The job holder will need to work in flexible manner as per the business need
