Position Overview

The HRIS & Reporting Requirements Specialist will be responsible for consulting with HR stakeholders to gather and iterate design requirements for the building of HR reports in DN’s Oracle HCM Fusion system. This employee will be an expert in Diebold Nixdorf data structures, able to easily understand data fields and articulate how they are connected to internal customers. The HRIS & Reporting Requirements Specialist will support the testing of reports and administer the queue of reporting requests. This employee will coordinate the production migration process for HR reporting, including: documentation, aligning with stakeholders, and ensuring all sign-offs are obtained.

The employee will manage highly confidential, sensitive data with integrity and with the highest levels of accuracy to serve customers.

You are responsible for:
• Acting as a consultant to the business to ensure new / requested reports capture the right fields and have the proper perimeters to meet the business needs
• Researching best practices and out of the box options to limit custom report builds
• Documenting requirements to support custom Oracle HCM Fusion Transaction Business Intelligence (OTBI) and Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP) builds
• Managing reporting entries in OnSpring, DN’s system for logging and tracking HR technology work
• Testing reporting builds and validating with stakeholders
• Validation of security roles access to reporting structures (confirming job roles & duty roles can access subject areas)
• Creating Change Requests (CRs) to support the migration of reporting builds to production
• Supporting adhoc queries as required by HR and other customers
• Support upgrade testing for reports and reporting security
• Investigating and resolving data and reporting issues via our Oracle Helpdesk tool

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Management or similar field with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience (ex: data management, HRIS, HR process ownership, project management)
• 3 years data management, HRIS, and/or reporting experience required
• Demonstrated knowledge of HR, HR systems, HR processes and enablement with technology
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Good interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience consulting with clients/stakeholders regarding data needs and ability to work effectively across functional groups
• Strong habit of documentation of process and procedures
• Demonstrated bias for ongoing optimization and standardization

Preferred Qualifications
• Expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud platform
• Experience in Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI), part of the Oracle HCM Cloud platform
• Experience with Oracle Infolets
• Familiar with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE)
• Experience with Global Data Privacy Regulations (GDPR) related to Personally Identifiable Information (PII)
