Key Areas of Responsibilities
• Collect CI attributes based on the new data model from Infrastructure and Application stakeholders within specified timelines.
• Maintain the HAM Content library, ensuring normalization at +0% and updating the CMDB data model with non-standardized new models from vendors.
• Update asset status in CMDB, collaborating with respective teams.
• Manage EOL/EOS details for all platform devices in the CMDB.
• Establish a monthly CMDB maturity scorecard to track data accuracy and address any inaccuracies proactively.
• Ensure data completeness for existing applications and their infrastructure mappings, including capturing network dependencies.
• Verify disposal requests monthly, ensuring disposal documents are available for all disposed assets.
• Establish governance processes to synchronize CMDB data with Finance systems for new asset onboarding and off boarding.
• Drive monthly reconciliation exercises to maintain data accuracy, resolving any data mismatches.
• Configure SNOW Agent mobile app for regional teams.
• Establish links between consumables and parent assets to eliminate orphan peripherals.
• Collate available HAM reports into single dashboards for easy reference and analysis.
• Ensure update software inventory is maintained in ServiceNow
• Onboarding and lifecycle management of new software/ license model in SAM as per defined process
• Be the custodian of ServiceNow platform – manage all ServiceNow admin functionalities
• Managing and maintaining Configuration Management database
Requirements
• CMDB – data model designing, setting up automatic discovery, data certification
• 5+ years of experience in IT
• Experience with audit management and stock take is preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in IT asset management, specifically in CMDB management
• Practical experience in utilizing Service Now functions like IT Service management, CMDB – Asset management, creating Dashboards, workflows and scripting.
