Job Title: Java Developer with AWS
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to join our team. As a Java Developer with AWS, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications that leverage various AWS services and infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the scalability, performance, and security of our applications.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy Java applications that integrate with AWS services.
Collaborate with architects, product owners, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Implement scalable and secure solutions using Java programming language and AWS SDKs.
Leverage AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, SQS, SNS, etc., to build robust and reliable applications.
Develop RESTful APIs and web services using Java frameworks and AWS API Gateway.
Ensure the quality of the code through testing, code reviews, and continuous integration.
Monitor and troubleshoot applications running on AWS, identifying and resolving performance and security issues.
Work with DevOps engineers to automate deployment and infrastructure management using tools like CloudFormation and Elastic Beanstalk.
Stay up to date with AWS best practices, new services, and industry trends.
Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in Java programming language and experience with Java frameworks.
Solid understanding of software development principles and design patterns.
Hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, SQS, SNS, etc.
Knowledge of AWS deployment and management tools, such as CloudFormation and Elastic Beanstalk.
Experience developing RESTful APIs and web services using Java frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Jakarta EE).
Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases.
Understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes) is a plus.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
AWS certifications, such as AWS Certified Developer, are preferred but not required.
