Sr. Java Developer

Overall Responsibilities: Lead the design and implementation of distributed platforms using Spring Boot and Microservices. Architect and develop solutions using Kafka, OpenShift, and Kubernetes. Mentor and guide team members to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Conduct code reviews to ensure the quality and maintainability of the codebase. Identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to increase efficiency. Stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements and industry trends. Technical Skills: Software Requirements: Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices. Experience building distributed platforms using Rediff. Proficiency in Kafka for data streaming and event processing. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as OpenShift and Kubernetes. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and design patterns. Experience: Minimum of 6+ years of experience in Java development, with a focus on Spring Boot and Microservices. Proven track record of architecting and building distributed platforms. Experience with Kafka, OpenShift, and Kubernetes. Experience leading technical teams and managing projects. Experience with software development methodologies and tools such as Agile, Scrum, Git, JIRA, and Confluence. Day-to-Day Activities: Participate in daily stand-up meetings and project planning sessions. Lead the design and implementation of distributed platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design technical solutions. Write, test, and deploy Java-based applications. Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to other team members. Monitor and troubleshoot application performance and scalability issues. Stay current with the latest technology trends and advancements. Provide technical support and mentorship to team members. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, or related technologies are a plus. Soft Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Excellent interpersonal and team-working skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to adapt to new technologies and changing requirements. Self-motivator and self-starter, able to own and drive tasks without supervision.
