What does a successful Python Developer, Specialist do?
As a Full Stack Python Developer at Fiserv, you will collaborate with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Client Services, Operations, and Scrum Team members to create innovative solutions for our clients. You will leverage your expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies to translate system requirements into the design and development of new enhancements as well as production issue fixes.
What You Will Do
Work on end-to-end feature development and critical and high-severity production defects.
Collaborate with the operations team to solve challenges faced during implementation.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production issues.
Respond to and resolve incidents along with the SME and desired technical staff, within the desired SLA.
Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing technical guidance and support.
Plan, track, and report on project progress, ensuring timely delivery.
Manage project risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Ensure Applications Meet Performance, Reliability, And Security Requirements.
Participate in daily/weekly stand-ups, code reviews, and product demos.
Adhere to platform architecture and best practices.
Work with the scrum team in developing the sprint plan.
Complete assigned development and testing within the sprint timeline and with high quality.
Core Skills
Strong proficiency in Python 3.11.
Extensive experience with SQL Server.
Expertise in front-end technologies including Backbone.js, JavaScript, Handlebars, and HTML5.
Solid understanding of back-end development and integration.
Experience In Designing And Developing Secure Full-stack Applications.
Proficiency in Jenkins CI/CD.
Knowledge of Java stack.
Familiarity with software security practices.
Good understanding of Agile methodologies and ability to handle agile ceremonies.
Efficient in reviewing, analyzing, coding, testing, and debugging application programs.
Ability to work under pressure while resolving critical issues in a production environment.
Good leadership skills and experience in leading projects from end-to-end.
Good Communication Skills And Experience In Working With Clients.
Good understanding of the banking domain.
What Would Be Great To Have
Experience with Git, Jira, and PowerShell.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
Testing experience with a good understanding of the Software Test Lifecycle, including test strategy, test planning, test case design, test data setup, and defect management.
