About the Role:

As a Senior Legal Assistant within our personal injury practice, you will be instrumental in guiding our clients through their most challenging times following an injury. You'll collaborate directly with our attorneys, expertly managing complex personal injury litigation cases from inception through resolution. This includes overseeing critical filings, coordinating intricate discovery processes, meticulously preparing for trial, and serving as a reliable and empathetic guide for our clients at every stage of their personal injury claim.

What You'll Do:

Oversee and strategically manage personal injury litigation case files, ensuring all deadlines and critical details are meticulously addressed and never missed.

Draft, meticulously proofread, and expertly file a wide range of legal documents specific to personal injury claims, including pleadings, complex motions, and discovery responses.

Organize comprehensive trial preparation materials, including medical records, exhibits, demonstratives, and witness coordination, for civil court proceedings.

Strategically coordinate and manage depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court schedules related to personal injury cases, optimizing efficiency and attorney time.

Serve as the primary, empathetic point of contact for injured clients, consistently keeping them informed, updated, and fully supported throughout their legal journey.

Manage all communications with courts, opposing counsel, insurance adjusters, medical providers, expert witnesses, and other third parties with professionalism and precision.

Provide essential in-court support to attorneys during trials, hearings, and other proceedings, including real-time documentation and exhibit management.

What You Bring:

3+ years of dedicated personal injury litigation paralegal experience.

Exceptional command of state and federal court rules and intricate filing procedures relevant to personal injury cases.

Superior attention to detail, organizational prowess, and time management skills in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex legal and medical information clearly and compassionately.

Advanced proficiency with case management systems (MyCase experience is a significant advantage), Microsoft Word, Excel, and various e-filing platforms.

A genuine passion for advocating for and helping injured clients and their families navigate difficult legal challenges.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
