Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Fixed Income Core Operations Team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting Millennium's Fixed Income Operations, ensuring seamless settlements, mitigating operational risks, and collaborating with the REPO desk to manage portfolio positions effectively. This role requires a strong understanding of fixed income products, operational workflows and exceptional attention to detail with an excellent communication skill.

Key Responsibilities
• Settlements Management: Oversee and ensure timely and accurate settlement of fixed income trades with Prime Brokers (PBs). Monitor trade lifecycle events, including confirmation, and clearing processes with PBs. Coordinate with PBs to ensure they work directly with Executing Brokers (EBs) for settlement finalization. Act as the escalation point for settlement delays or issues caused by EBs, working with PBs and EBs to resolve discrepancies. Proactively monitor settlement status and address any exceptions or breaks in the process.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational risks associated with fixed income transactions. Proactively monitor and address issues that could impact trade settlements or portfolio positions.
• Monitoring PM Positions & REPO Desk Support: Monitor portfolio managers' (PMs) positions daily to ensure they are adequately covered. Provide timely updates to the REPO desk on the status of REPO settlements. Escalate any discrepancies or issues related to PM positions or REPO settlements to the appropriate teams.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between portfolio managers, the REPO desk, Prime Brokers, Executing Brokers, and other internal teams. Provide regular updates and reports on settlement status, operational risks, and PM position coverage. Address queries and provide solutions to operational challenges in a timely manner.
• Operational Oversight: Maintain accurate records of all fixed income transactions and settlements. Continuously review and improve operational workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce risk. Support the implementation of new systems, processes, or tools to streamline operations.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in Fixed Income operations, trading support, or any related role.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of Fixed Income products and experience working with Prime Brokers or Executing Brokers in a settlement operations capacity.
• Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SQL to support day-to-day operational activities is a must
• Attributes: Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Flexibility: Willingness to work long hours and any shift as required to meet business deadlines or handle critical operational tasks.

About the role

The Financial Reporting team is looking for a Senior Manager Group Consolidation. This is a unique opportunity to join the world’s leading company where you will be responsible for driving the group consolidation process and ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting at a global level.

You will report directly to the Head of Group Reporting & Consolidation.

This position requires you to have a strong command of consolidation principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to see the bigger picture of how group results reflect the performance of the business. You will act as the key link between local finance teams, regional controllers, and group management.

Key Responsibilities
• •Own and lead the full group financial consolidation process (monthly, quarterly, annual) to deliver accurate, complete and timely consolidated results in compliance with IFRS and internal policies.
• •Deliver group-level financial statements, reporting packs, and disclosures for senior management, Board and external stakeholders, ensuring insight and transparency.
• •Act as the guardian of group reporting integrity, ensuring consistent accounting treatments across all entities and challenging submissions to guarantee high-quality results.
• •Manage and continuously improve the consolidation system, driving automation, standardization and efficiency across global reporting processes.
• •Act as the primary contact for external auditors on group reporting and consolidation, leading discussions, addressing technical queries and ensuring smooth audit delivery.
• •Take ownership of ad-hoc consolidation projects (e.g., new acquisitions, reorganizations, system migrations), ensuring smooth integration into group reporting with minimal disruption.
• •Act as a thought leader in consolidation and reporting, mentoring junior team members and upskilling the wider finance community on best practices.
