Sr. Manager – Presales & Solutions

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field
Purpose of the Position
As Senior Manager – Presales & Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in driving solution-led growth for
Iksula’s Retail and eCommerce business. You will partner closely with Sales, Strategy, Accelerators and
Delivery leaders to understand customer needs, shape differentiated solutions, and support deal
conversion.
This role requires a senior professional who can combine domain consulting, technical solutioning, and
commercial awareness, while confidently engaging with client stakeholders across business and
technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Presales & Sales Support (Deal Ownership)
● Partner with Sales teams to understand customer requirements, challenges, and deal context.
● Own solutioning and technical presales across the opportunity lifecycle.
● Create and deliver solution presentations, demos, and walkthroughs tailored to customer
needs.
● Lead and contribute to RFP, RFI, and RFQ responses, including scope definition, effort
estimation, assumptions, and dependencies.
● Support deal shaping and qualification to improve win probability and deal quality.
2. Solution Development & Consulting
● Analyse customer business requirements and design end-to-end digital commerce and data
solutions.
● Develop high-level solution architectures aligned to scalability, performance, and future
roadmap
● Respond to customer technical questions, risks, and objections with clarity and confidence
● Collaborate with internal delivery teams to validate feasibility and refine solutions
● Provide structured feedback into product and solution accelerators based on market demand.
3. Customer Engagement
● Act as a trusted advisor during presales and early engagement stages.
● Lead discovery workshops, solutioning sessions, webinars, and client briefings
● Build strong client relationships by demonstrating domain expertise and solution credibility.
4. Proposal & Bid Management
● Own the quality, accuracy, and consistency of proposals and bid submissions.
● Ensure alignment between customer requirements, commercial objectives, and delivery
capabilities.
5. Presales Process & Capability Building
● Continuously improve presales processes to enhance efficiency, consistency, and speed.
● Contribute to building reusable assets such as:
○ Solution frameworks
○ Architecture templates
○ Case studies and POVs
● Mentor or guide junior presales team members where applicable.
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration
● Work with Marketing to support campaigns, and solution collateral.
● Ensure smooth handover from presales to delivery, maintaining solution intent and client
expectations.
Digital Technology Stack – Solutioning Level
Candidates are expected to have strong conceptual and solution-level understanding (not hands-on
development) across:
Commerce Platforms
● Enterprise B2C / B2B eCommerce platforms
● Omnichannel and marketplace commerce
● Headless and composable commerce concepts
Product & Content Platforms
● Product Information Management (PIM)
● Digital Asset Management (DAM)
● Catalog, taxonomy, and content syndication
Data & Analytics
● Data warehouse / lakehouse architectures
● Analytics & BI platforms
● Customer, product, and commerce data use cases
● Exposure to AI/ML-driven retail use cases is a plus
Enterprise & Integration Landscape
● ERP and backend system integrations
● API-led and microservices-based architectures
● Cloud-native solution concepts (AWS / Azure / GCP – high level)
Success Metrics (How This Role Is Measured)
Success in this role will be evaluated based on:
● Quality and win-rate of presales solutioning engagements
● Effectiveness and clarity of RFP / proposal submissions
● Client feedback on solution relevance and credibility
● Smooth transition from presales to delivery with minimal rework
● Adoption and reuse of solution assets across presales teams
Candidate Profile
Mandatory Experience
● 5–8 years of experience in Presales, Solution Consulting within IT / ITeS.
● Minimum 5 years of experience in Retail / eCommerce services.
● Proven experience owning presales engagements and solution design
● Strong exposure to proposal development and client-facing solution presentations.

Pay: ₹3,000,000.00 - ₹3,500,000.00 per year
