Responsibilities
The O&R Marketing Sr Manager is the leader of the regional marketing team and is responsible for developing and executing marketing and commercial strategies within Latam to increase brand awareness, consideration, and conversation
Consequently, leading the LATAM markets to deliver the category and brand goals and the financials goals
This person works collaboratively with the Local and Global Marketing team on brand strategies, brand and category communication, the development of innovation, and portfolio optimization for LATAM and the Go to Market development
This role is crucial for tailoring marketing efforts to the specific needs and characteristics of the region, ensuring that campaigns are effective and resonate with the local audience
Strategic Planning
Collaborate with Global Marketing: Identify growth opportunities and necessary innovations for sustainable regional growth
Translate Priorities: Convert business priorities into actionable brand objectives, strategies, and plans
Lead Marketing Teams: Guide in-country marketing teams to develop impactful strategies and executions
Leverage Competitive Advantages: Utilize brand strengths in the LATAM market to outperform competitors
Annual Marketing Plan: Lead regional marketing planning and collaborate with global marketing for annual brand planning
Budget Management: Oversee and allocate budgets for A&P, media, consumer, and trade promotions based on strategic needs
Consumer Insights Partnership: Work with consumer insights and global teams to conduct necessary research for business strategies
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Sales, Global Brand, Finance, HR, and Consumer Insights to drive profitable sales

Brand Stewardship
Ensure Consistent Brand Positioning: Execute global brand positioning and collaborate with local regions to maintain consistency

Approve Creative Materials: Review and approve marketing materials from Global teams, including campaign copy, emails, POP/POS collateral, print media, landing pages, advertising, and co-branded materials
Strengthen Brand Equity: Formulate strategies to enhance brand equity in the LATAM market through comprehensive, full-funnel marketing campaigns
Category Management and Business Development
Prepare Financial Business Cases: Lead the category team to develop financial business cases for product opportunities and regional growth, including market share analysis and pricing strategy
Identify Portfolio White Spaces: Determine gaps in local country portfolios and select appropriate categories and assortments from the regional portfolio
Business development: Assist country teams in identifying and addressing key challenges to business development
Develop Pricing Strategies: Collaborate with Brand Finance and local teams to set annual retail price points, promotional frequencies, gross margin thresholds, and key price thresholds by brand
Assess SKU Opportunities: Evaluate the feasibility of extending SKUs from the Global/US portfolio and develop business cases for the Global Brand Marketing team
Lead SKU Rationalization: Work with Global Brand on the SKU rationalization process and lead this process within the region
