Qualifications
Proven experience as a (Percona) MySQL Database Administrator with 5 years+ of experience in Multisite Clustering
Strong knowledge of MySQL database architecture, replication, and clustering technologies
Experience with database performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing
Must have experience 3+ years of experience with Percona Server for MySQL, Percona XtraDB Cluster, Percona XtraBackup hot backup
Experience with other database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, Orchestrator, ProxySQL, and HAProxy
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation
Experience with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., AWS RDS, Google Cloud SQL)
Understanding of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Proficiency in backup and recovery processes and tools
Familiarity with database security best practices
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills

Trilliant is seeking a Senior MySQL Database Administrator with demonstrated expertise in Multisite Clustering to join our dynamic Global Support team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, managing, maintaining, and optimizing our MySQL databases, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. This role requires a deep understanding of MySQL clustering, replication, backup, and recovery processes. This position reports to the VP of Global Support and IT.
