The Navigation and System Integration GNC Engineer will be responsible for integration, testing, validation and verification of Navigation instrumentation and GNSS components and supporting the navigation SW suite and development efforts (including filtering and fusion) on advanced guidance, navigation and control systems for our aircraft, as needed

Job Title: Sr Network Engineer- Night Shift
Location: Lakewood, CA (onsite)
Duration: Contract to hire
Job Description:
• Design, configure, and maintain switching network infrastructures and wireless systems.
• Work extensively with Cisco hardware (routers, switches, access points, firewalls).
• Troubleshoot network issues across Layer 1 (physical), Layer 2 (data link), and Layer 3 (network).
• Implement and manage network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark, Nagios) to ensure system uptime and performance.
• Assist in network planning and capacity management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for infrastructure upgrades and security compliance.
• Perform regular system updates, patching, and hardware refreshes.
• Maintain documentation for network configurations, policies, and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience in network infrastructure roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco technologies (Cisco certification preferred).
• Solid understanding of network protocols and wireless networking standards.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and configuring devices across Layers 1–3.
• Experience with network performance monitoring and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Skills:
• Familiarity with firewalls, load balancers, and VPN technologies.
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Knowledge of network automation (Python, Ansible) is advantageous.
