Job Description
We are looking for a Sr Nodejs Backend Engineer, who is passionate about Nodejs/Expressjs and building high quality and scalable products.
We believe in ownership and are looking for people driven to continuously ship new, impactful features and capabilities for our clients projects. Seasoned ability to design, develop and test new functionality, whilst ensuring platform is always robust and scalable. Can document their own work very delicately and communicate the same to the client.
Key Responsibilities
• Working with the architect to understand the technical solutions and architectural decisions in the project.
• Understanding the business requirements by working with business team.
• Understanding the user interface design approach and parameters used in the project.
• Developing technical specifications for new web applications.
• Developing high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code.
• Documenting Node.js processes, including database schemas, as well as preparing reports.
• Keeping informed of advancements in the field of Node.js development.
• Maintaining new and existing web applications including resolving defects.
• Communicating effectively with the development team and the larger organization.
Required Skills
• 3+ years of experience of relevant experience.
• Solid JS and Nodejs experience
• Building and deploying API's
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and Software Architecture
• Experience with REST, WebSocket, MySQL/PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis
• Experience with Docker and AWS Infrastructure
• Self-motivation, goal-oriented approach
• Intermediate (or higher) English skills
Bonus Optional Skills
• Experience with CI/CD.
• Devops on AWS, GCP, DigitalOcean or Heroku etc
