Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Node.js Web Developer with expertise in working on the Azure platform. As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance web applications using Node.js and related technologies on the Azure cloud platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers, to deliver robust and efficient solutions.
Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Node.js, Express.js, and other relevant frameworks and libraries.
2. Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications and implementation plans.
3. Work with front-end developers to integrate server-side logic with user interfaces, ensuring seamless user experiences.
4. Optimize application performance by conducting code reviews, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing efficient solutions.
5. Implement security measures and best practices to protect web applications from potential vulnerabilities and threats.
6. Deploy and manage web applications on the Azure cloud platform, utilizing Azure services like Azure Functions, Azure App Service, Azure Storage, and others.
7. Design and develop RESTful APIs for internal and external consumption, ensuring proper documentation and versioning.
8. Collaborate with DevOps engineers to establish CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.

10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Node.js, Azure, and web development, and apply them to enhance the development process and deliver cutting-edge solutions.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
2. Extensive experience working as a Node.js web developer, with a focus on backend development.
3. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including asynchronous programming, promises, and ES6+ features.
4. In-depth knowledge of Node.js frameworks like Express.js and strong command over RESTful API development.
5. Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure, and familiarity with Azure services and deployments.
6. Proficient in working with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or similar NoSQL/SQL databases.
7. Familiarity with frontend technologies like HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) is a plus.
8. Experience with version control systems like Git and proficiency in using CI/CD tools and methodologies.
