8+ years of Oracle Database experience
• 8+ years of Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters) experience
• 8+ years of experience with AWR Review
• 8+ years of experience with standby database setup and support.
• 6+ years of experience with Goldengate replication
• 3+ years of experience with AWS Technologies like RDS (Oracle and Aurora), Redshift and S3
• Expert with performance tuning of Oracle Databases and Goldengate
Plusses
• Experience working with Exadata and ZFS
• Experience working with standby setup with broker configuration
• Experience working with Goldengate with big data adapter
The Sr. DBA's typical day will consist of 40% hands-on performance tuning in Oracle, 40% working with Oracle/Goldengate internals,
10% database backup/recovery efforts and 10% working on AWS. This person will work closely with fellow Sr. DBA's and Architects, but will be expected to come into the role and hit the ground running.
