By 2026, India’s sustainable mobility market will grow by 10 times and will account for more than 10% of the total annual demand for electric vehicles globally, which is more than Europe and North America combined. At Freshbus, our mission is to accelerate India’s growth to smart sustainable mobility.
We’re both a tech start-up and a sustainable transport operator. FreshBus is a modern-age smart bus service, which enhances the Indian bus journey and customer experience to best standards by providing a comfortable, safe and sustainable travelling experience to the bus travellers through its use of technology combined with best process and innovation.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain and upgrade multiple web applications
• End to end ownership of at least one of the web applications
• Code reviews, and constructive feedback to peers
• Reduce technical debt and explore ways to improve the application and coding practices
• Work with other developers, especially mobile developers to provide necessary APIs and update/upgrades as needed
Key Requirements:
• 6+ years of exp in PHP, Codeigniter Framework and/or any other PHP Framework
• Should be proactive, take up the challenges and should able to working independently and with a startup mindset
• Good Working knowledge of Javascript, and OOJS concepts, and exposure to JS frameworks like Angular or React
• Good analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong experience on RDBMS, Normalization Concepts and fluent in writing Queries
• Experience on Web Services, REST, SOAP, CORS, HTML5 APIs etc
• Experience in developing web Secured applications and Mysql optimization knowledge is must.
• Experience working with ubuntu and basic linux commands
• Experience with Git, Jira, agile methodologies and best practices
Good to have:
• Knowledge of AWS and AWS services
• Experience on MongoDB and NoSQL Databases concepts
• Experience with Logging frameworks is a plus
• Experience in Angular/React
