Our mobile marketing platform (http://www.skycore.com) provides mobile messaging software solutions to mobile operators, enterprises, and digital marketing companies. We have been in business since 2004, and we power messaging campaigns for some of the most successful brands and service providers globally. Job Description
We are looking for a PHP Developer responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition, and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The developer will be responsible for writing new features and integration for our customers as well as helping to refactor existing code for performance and scale.
Expertise in Core PHP (3+ Years), Strong in JavaScript.
Expert in Postgres (3+ Years), or Mysql, Working knowledge in Redis.
Experience with CSS3, HTML5.
Experience with GIT, GITHUB for version control operating/Shell: Linux / Command Line; Web Server: Apache, Strong in OOP concepts and MVC design patterns.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
Ability to see future problems and design requirements and not just the assigned task. Entrepreneurial personality with the ability to work independently and as a team.
Exceptional code commenting and leadership potential.
Skills
4+ years’ experience in PHP Development.
Write “clean”, well-designed code
Produce detailed specifications.
Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
Follow industry best practices
Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary
