Position Summary: Harman-X drives the next generation of innovation in Harman. As part of the corporate group, the team works on challenging problems across Automotive, Consumer and other class of products. Members of this team are expected to flexible and uncomfortable with uncertainty. Domain expertise is expected but more importantly, being a self-starter is mandatory.

Job Responsibilities
• Invent and mature new signal processing technologies (HW/SW) related to automobiles, headphones, speakers, microphones and beyond
• Understanding of Machine Learning techniques and applications across diverse applications
• Prototype new features on C++/Python/Matlab or equivalent and demonstrate to team
• Development of Audio technologies in C/C++
• Porting and Optimization of audio technologies on different DSPs & GPU
• Simulation and validation of audio technologies in different products
• Discuss and debate different solutions for the problem with the team
• Create system design, entity diagrams and models to communicate solutions
• Knowledge of firmware and embedded OS is preferred
• Prior IP filings or peer-reviewed research publications are desired
Preferred Qualifications
• BE /MTech Computer Science / Information science
• Total 8-12 years of experience in firmware & DSP domain with atleast 3 years of experience in audio post processing techonologies
• Demonstrated algorithm development experience is required for this role
• Prior Tensor Flow experience
• Experience with ARM optimization and/or GPU programming
• Good knowledge on object oriented software development using C/C++
• Experience in MATLAB and Python is valuable
• Good knowledge on DSP SW architectures and audio signal processing
• Strong communication skills and team work, international experience is preferred
• Self-motivated and capability to work independently with minimal oversight
• Hands on Revision control systems (Git, etc) and Continuous Integration systems (Jenkins,Bamboo etc)
• Experience in Jira and scrum process will be add on
