About the team and the role:

We are passionate about connecting buyers and sellers around the world and creating opportunities through commerce and technology. Our responsibilities include all aspects of logistics, to empower sellers through state-of-the-art shipping tools.

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Product Manager for eBay Shipping Cost Management product. This role is central to eBay’s mission to simplify shipping for sellers and create a fast, reliable, and cost-effective delivery experience for buyers.

As a Product Manager, you’ll own the end-to-end strategy, roadmap, and execution of AI/ML-driven capabilities that estimate item weight and dimensions, predict package sizes, and recommend optimal shipping services. You'll work cross-functionally with engineering, design, data science, and other product teams to develop scalable solutions that remove complexity from sellers and reduce costs across the shipping journey.

What you will accomplish:

Define and drive the product vision and strategy for Shipping Cost Management, aligned with eBay’s broader shipping strategy.

Partner with engineers, data scientists, designers, and fellow PMs to deliver AI-powered solutions that predict item/package characteristics and recommend shipping options.

Develop features that help sellers seamlessly adopt accurate shipping settings by automating weight/dimension entry and suggesting optimal carriers and costs.

Establish clear product metrics, set hypotheses, and run A/B experiments to measure impact on seller adoption, cost savings, and buyer conversion.

Collaborate with international teams to scale capabilities globally and ensure alignment with logistics partners and marketplace policies.

Communicate product vision, progress, and findings clearly to stakeholders and executives.

What you will bring:

5+ years of product management experience, ideally in ecommerce, or AI/ML-driven products

Strong analytical approach; able to define and track success metrics using data.

Experience working with AI/ML technologies or data science teams is highly preferred.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Passion for simplifying complex systems and delivering delightful seller experiences.
