Job Title: ASSISTANT PRODUCTION MANAGER (PLASTIC INDUSTRY)
Location: SECTOR-80 NOIDA
Overview: Company , a leading manufacturer in the plastic packaging industry, is seeking a skilled Assistant Production Manager with a background in plastic moulding. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the production process to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety.
Responsibilities :
Develop and implement production plans to meet production targets and customer demands.
Oversee daily production activities, generating daily production reports and MIS reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production volume and quality metrics.
Analyse production data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to optimize performance.
Manage and optimize resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to achieve cost-effective production
Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations throughout the production process.
Monitor and optimize mould and machine performance to ensure maximum efficiency and output and address any issues to minimize disruptions to production.
Implement process improvements and workflow optimizations to minimize cycle times and increase throughput.
Develop shift schedules to ensure adequate coverage and optimize production capacity.
Identify training needs among production staff, operators and develop training programs to enhance their skills and capabilities.
Establish and enforce housekeeping standards to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualification:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (preferred).
2. 5 to 7 years of experience in a production management role in the plastic moulding industry.
3. Strong technical knowledge of plastic moulding processes, equipment, and materials. Proven experience in shift planning, production scheduling, and MIS Reporting.
4. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
5. Familiarity in computer applications such as Microsoft office for Production Report.
6. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing production challenges.
