Role: Sr. Python Developer
Location: Onsite | Ahmadabad, Pune
Contract: Long-term
Key Responsibilities & Achievements:
• Led the maintenance, enhancement, and modernization of a Python-based legacy registry system.
• Optimized legacy codebases for performance, scalability, and maintainability, reducing technical debt.
• Collaborated with cross-functional teams including data engineers, DevOps, and architects to ensure seamless integration with enterprise analytics platforms.
• Designed and implemented automated testing strategies and CI/CD pipelines, improving deployment reliability.
• Diagnosed and resolved complex production issues, ensuring high system availability and data integrity.
• Created comprehensive documentation covering architecture, workflows, and technical decisions to support long-term maintainability.
• Contributed to roadmap planning and modernization strategies, aligning with business and technology objectives.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in Python backend development, specializing in large-scale and legacy systems.
• Strong expertise in system architecture, data modeling, and refactoring of legacy platforms.
• Proficient in SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and data integration pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Skilled in debugging, profiling, and performance tuning for high-volume systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred Expertise:
• Experience with enterprise data and analytics platforms.
• Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, or registry systems.
• Familiarity with modern data intelligence tools.
