Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (QA)

Position Description
As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer for QA you will utilize superior knowledge and experience to perform highly complex product installation, setup, testing , systems analysis, research, maintenance, troubleshooting and other testing and QA activities. This role is an individual contributor role and require hands on experience in Manual/Automated testing. Person should be able to manage all end-to-end testing activities. He/She should be able to write test plans/strategy and should be able to execute it. He/She should be able to write automation framework from scratch and should be able to write test scripts..
Required skills/experience:
Development and execution of test plans and scripts
Collaboration with Development teams, managers, leads and Product management.
Hands on experience in Manual/Automated testing
Excellent understanding of automated frameworks & techniques
Excellent understanding of Rest/Soap API testing
Provide status updates to stakeholders and escalates issues when necessary.
Good understanding of build technologies like Ant/maven/gradle etc.
Bug tracking tools, workflows
Working knowledge in Agile/Scrum environment
Experience in Cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure and technologies like Docker, Kubernetes and Helm
Experienced in implementing/monitoring Continuous Delivery. (CI/CD - Continuous Integration, Deployment)
Expertise in monitoring security vulnerabilities using leading tools either using SAST, DAST or IAST.
Desirable skills:
Product testing and creating test plans/scripts, acceptance criteria.
Automated Regression Testing.
Exposure to Cloud technologies usage and deployments is must (AWS, GCP, Azure etc.)
Setup environments in AWS, GCP, Azure and deployments
Experience with Dockers, Kubernetes, Terraform.
Must have experience with a modern version control system such as: Git, GitHub, GitLab.
Exposure to security vulnerabilities tools.
Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline
5+ years of testing experience
