Role and Responsibilities
Candidate will be reporting to operations manager and is required to implement his / her technical knowledge for supplier quality support.
Key responsibilities are as below but not limited to:
• Evaluate potential suppliers and assess their capabilities to meet quality standards and requirements.
• Develop and maintain supplier quality agreements and performance metrics to monitor supplier performance.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of supplier facilities and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
• Well, known to CAPA (Corrective Action & Preventive Actions) documentation, control plan, Layout report, PDI report, Product audit.
• Lead root cause analysis investigations for supplier-related quality issues and develop action plans to address underlying causes via NCR.
• Shall prepare 8D reports, PPAP, APQP, PPM, MSA & FMEA reports.
• Should be aware of Quality tools such as Kaizen, 5S, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), QC Tools, preparation of QA matrix.
• Work closely with cross-functional global teams, including Purchasing, Engineering, and Manufacturing, to communicate quality requirements to suppliers and support supplier development activities.
• Responsible for incoming inspections, in-production inspections, and final inspections
• Responsible for Product Audit, Process Audit, Document Audit & Quality assurance plan.
• Before dispatch, generating and maintaining inspection related documentation.
• Assessing, preparing and / or maintaining technical reports and documentation of products.
• Maintain supplier quality documentation, including supplier audit reports, corrective action plans, and performance records.
• Providing necessary assistance to another departments.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to supplier
experience
