Main responsibilities:
Responsible for managing Moog Industrial sales activities within India reporting to the Entity General Manager. The incumbent is required to develop and grow the sales of Moog India, manage the sales resources to deliver the set goals and develop and implement plans aligning with Moog’s Industrial product portfolio and the Moog Industrial Group strategy. The position will also be a member of the Moog India Leadership Team and work with other colleagues of Moog’s Global team to manage and develop the growth and profitability of Moog’s Industrial markets in India.
Principal Key Accountabilities or Results of the Job:
Lead and supervise the Sales team for Moog business opportunities within the India Region.
Develop and execute business plans for the India region. Assist and support sales engineers during difficult negotiations
New Business Development in identified markets vs. plan (nr, of new customers, revenue growth, customized solutions)
Drive, manage and supervise the team’s individual Account Plans, Sales activities plans, reliable forecasts, and official travel to meet business needs.
Customer satisfaction (trend of regular surveys to improve)
Assist in development of India region sales business strategies and lead the implementation of the strategy.
Profitability of business (PC and Gross Margin vs. plan). The Territorial Business Manager leads and directs the local resources to support the business
Solution integration (percentage of business vs. plan, in line with strategy)
Budgeting Sales, CoS, OH (Cost) of sales structure
Sales force effectiveness (specific objective for revenue per capita, growth and profitability)
Report regularly to Management on business performance metrics
Facilitate communication between and with various stakeholders – e.g., Customers; Engineering, Logistics & Operations departments; Moog India management, to ensure complete and comprehensive understanding of issues, priorities, and opportunities.
Build, enhance & sustain high level / strategic relationships with key customers
Identify and develop key channel partners in the geography
Qualifications:
Education/degree
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a reputed university.
Advanced studies in Engineering, and business subjects, or an MBA are desirable.
Work experience
A progressive experience of 15 years’ or more in engineering industry with 5 years of experience in a leadership role in Sales and knowledge of EM and EH motion control technologies in relevant industries of Moog
