Job Description – Salesforce Sr. Developer-Bengaluru Location
Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Sr. Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and deploying custom solutions using Salesforce technologies. The Salesforce Sr. Developer will work closely with business and solution architects to understand technical solutions that meet organizational needs. The successful candidate will have strong technical skills, the ability to work independently, and experience developing custom solutions in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
Develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce technologies
Collaborate with other developers and team members to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs
Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality and best practices are followed
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Salesforce solutions
Keep up-to-date with new Salesforce releases and features and recommend improvements to existing solutions
Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle (SDLC) including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
We’re looking for someone who:
Your experience should include some or all of the following:
Platform Developer I Certification
Platform Developer II Certification
5+ years of experience using Apex, SOQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
At least 3+ years of experience developing LWC in Salesforce
Excellent problem-solving skills; strong logical reasoning and solution oriented
Genuine passion for programming
Ability to work with and lead others in a team-oriented environment
Strong understanding of the Salesforce development cycle and programming techniques and tools
Familiarity with Salesforce development best practices, data model, and governor limits
Proficiency with batch jobs, apex triggers, web services, unit testing, and queueable jobs
Additionally, you may have:
Insurance industry experience
JavaScript Developer I Certification
Salesforce Financial Services Cloud experience (Trailhead’s Financial Services Cloud Specialist Badge a plus!)
Git and continuous integration best practices
Understanding and implementation of Salesforce best practices of security and data protection
Ability to understand and create SOQL queries and stored procedures
Experience with AWS
Strong understanding of GCP
Experience or training with Agile Scrum or Kanban methodologies is a plus
