Job Description
Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.
Responsibilities:
Technically analyzes, designs and implements software to automate more complex business processes for internal customers and external interfaces.
Leads application design, custom development, technical documentation, testing, and tier-3 maintenance. Interacts with application analyst and application engineering managers.
Sometimes handles a large enhancement, project, and/or team within a large project. Demonstrates expert proficiency within an applied technical area, such as SAP ABAP, Java, C++, APEX, SQL Server, SAP BW, or Greenplum.
Operates under minimal supervision, with latitude for decision making and cross-team communication. While without administrative (direct) employees, sometimes performs the role of functional supervisor. Acts as team advisor.
