Job Description: Sr. Service Now Developer(ITSM+ ITOM)

Total Experience - 6+ years

Relevant experience - Must 6 years in ServiceNow

Location: Noida, Gurgaon, New Delhi, Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar., Kolhapur, Ranchi. (Onsite)

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 Days

Budget : 20-25 LPA

Key Responsibilities

ServiceNow Development & Implementation

• Design, develop, and implement ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request Management).

• Configure, implement, and optimize ITOM solutions, including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB.

• Develop and maintain ServiceNow workflows, UI policies, business rules, client scripts, and integrations.

• Automate IT processes using Flow Designer, Orchestration, and Integration Hub.

• Implement ServiceNow integrations with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, SolarWinds, Nagios, Dynatrace, and Datadog.

CMDB & ITOM Optimization

• Design and maintain a scalable and well-governed CMDB, ensuring data integrity and relationship mapping.

• Configure and maintain Discovery patterns, probes, and sensors to ensure accurate asset discovery.

• Implement Service Mapping to improve IT visibility and dependency tracking.

• Configure Event Management to correlate alerts from monitoring tools and reduce service downtime.

System Maintenance & Security

• Perform ServiceNow instance upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.

• Ensure role-based access control (RBAC) and security compliance across ServiceNow environments.

• Develop reports, dashboards, and Performance Analytics for ITSM and ITOM processes.

• Troubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow ITOM-related issues efficiently.

Collaboration & Best Practices

• Work closely with IT teams, architects, and stakeholders to align ServiceNow solutions with business objectives.

• Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and administrators.

• Ensure adherence to ITIL best practices and ServiceNow development standards.

• Develop technical documentation and conduct end-user training sessions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development with a focus on ITSM & ITOM.

• Strong expertise in Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB design & governance.

• Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Scripts, and Flow Designer.

• Experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party tools using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and Integration Hub.

• Deep understanding of ITIL framework and IT service operations.

• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, SolarWinds, Nagios, and Dynatrace.

• ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS-ITSM, CIS-ITOM, CAD) are highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Strong knowledge of Performance Analytics and ITOM Governance.

• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and leadership skills
