Job Description
This position is focused on working in the development team to develop and constantly improve and enhance the CSS internal tools to support internal operational and service delivery processes.
The ideal candidate's required skills:
• Strong experience on PL/SQL and SQL scripts
• Solid understanding of Oracle Database 12c/1+c.
• Hands on experience with Data warehousing, data modeling and ETL projects
• Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) experience
• Development experience with OBIEE with the following components: Interactive Dashboard, Answers/Analytics, Publisher, Delivers, BI Server
• OBIEE 12c RPD development and knowledge in Oracle Analytics Cloud Service (OAC) / Data Visualizer (DV)
• Build OBIEE/OAC reports and dashboards in response to customers’ requests
• Experience in configuring OBIEE / OBIA security (Authentication and Authorization Object level and Data level security)
• Experience in tool and report development and creating user interfaces – Oracle APEX
• Experience with Oracle database design, PL/SQL coding, ETL methodologies, SQL
• Experience in designing and writing SQL based reports
• High level experience in Oracle software environments
• At least 5 to 8 years of experience in software development (minimum 3 years OBIEE)
Additional Desired skills:
• Data Visualization experience
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) experience
• SSO and App Gateway experience
• Java, J2EE experience
• JDeveloper, Eclipse or similar experience
• Performance, Information Lifecycle Management features
• Experience in Oracle data sources and standards an advantage – e.g. OKS, PA, ODS, GIS
• Unix scripting experience desirable
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Collaborate with other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area
