Senior Software Developer (.NET)
The Team
AccuMap is a desktop oil and gas mapping, data management and analysis software application well known in the industry for its ease of use, intuitive workflows, and rich datasets. Our team is seeking a senior software developer who is passionate to help customers and build high demand features.
Responsibilities
• Participate in full project life cycle: Planning, Analysis, Design, Implementation, Testing, and Maintenance.
• Work with product managers and product owners to understand business requirements.
• Convert requirements into solutions and estimate the effort required.
• Design and create both front-end and back-end components.
• Write unit tests, review code, collaborate closely with team members to create high quality software.
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs.
• Assist our customer facing support team in solving client issues, when necessary
• Active participation in all agile ceremonies, following agile best practices effectively.
• Contribute insights and suggestions as part of our continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
• Minimum B.Sc. in software engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience in software development industry
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent problem solving, analytical skills.
• Experience in the following technologies and development languages: C#, .NET Core/.NET Framework, MVC, WPF.
• Knowledge of SOLID principles, OOP, design patterns.
• Familiarity with, or interest in, agile principles, values, and practices
• Experience in the following areas is plus:
• C, C++ and DevExpress.
• Databases such as SQLite.
• Denodo.
• Cloud (AWS, Azure).
• Gas and Oil Energy data.
