This position will serve as a full-stack developer to produce scalable software solutions. They will be part of a cross-functional team that is responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. The developer will be expected to move between projects as priorities change. This role will work across all layers of the application front end, middle layer and DB layer including development frameworks and third-party libraries.
Essential Job Functions:
Software Development:
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems, applications, and components for market sale or proprietary software.
- Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.
- Follow the team's established Agile processes, supporting both short- and long-term planning, cross-functional support, and demonstrating working software.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions that adhere to architectural best practices.
- Create and document application platform architectural vision and strategy to maintain long-term viability.
- Troubleshoot and solve difficult customer issues, performing the most complex development, testing, and debugging tasks.
Technical Expertise:
- Working knowledge of multiple languages, software development environments, and software development life-cycle procedures, including but not limited to: C#, AWS, .Net, software development frameworks, API integrations, RESTful web services, structured and unstructured databases, TypeScript, JavaScript frameworks (Angular, VUE, React).
- Understand of Devops tools; Kubernetes/EKS
- Evaluate new platforms, technologies, and software products/techniques to determine feasibility and desirability of incorporating their capabilities within the company's products.
Project Management:
- Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Continuously evaluate development progress against plans and intervene with lead developers, project managers, or consult with management to facilitate business outcomes.
Qualifications/ Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering, information systems preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 6+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically with 1+ years in a Senior Associate level role or external equivalent
- Working knowledge of multiple languages including but not limited to: C#, AWS, .Net, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript frameworks (Angular, VUE, React)
- Working knowledge of API integrations, RESTful web services, structured and unstructured databases
- Understand of Devops tools: Kubernetes/EKS
- Experience using Azure DevOps, Jira, Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, or similar tools
- Interest in and ability to learn new coding languages and technologies as needed
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
