Job Title: Sr Software Engineer

ACI has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Software Engineer for Automation to join our team in Pune.
Job Summary : Provides technical leadership for the plan, design, development, implementation and maintenance of automation solutions and strategy. The Engineer will build automation framework features and provide technical expertise to help rollout effective automation solutions for quality automation framework and processes.
Job Responsibilities :
•Independently designs, develops, tests and delivers high quality automation solutions. Provides direct estimates, such as time, percentage of project completion, etc to lead and/or manager.
•Research and resolves reported systems software problems efficiently and accurately while adhering to internal software management standards and procedures.
•Coordinates the technical work of a small project team. Plans and schedules tasks for projects and individuals.
•Maintains detail knowledge of software, underlying network and system software, and dependencies.
•Provides guidance and subject matter expertise to the development organization
•Assumes primary responsibility to develop and maintain test automation frameworks
•Lead automation strategies/solutions within team and across discipline
•Evaluate and propose use of new tools for continuous improvement and to drive automation strategies forward
•Mentor others in test automation and QA best practices
•Build, test, deploy, monitor and maintain effective test automation solutions
•Strong communication and collaboration skills
•Perform other duties as assigned
•Understand and adhere to all corporate policies to include but not limited to the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required for the job:
•Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent software development experience.
•7 years software development experience.
•Proficient in Core Java, Javascript, Junit, HTML, XML, JSON, CSS, SQL, REST API, SOAP
•Proficient in Gradle, SourceTree, TortoiseGit, Atlassian tools plugin development
•For test automation framework development, be able to use GIT, Maven, IntelliJ IDEA/Eclipse, Java; Selenium, Silk4J; javascript (jQuery), HTML, CSS.
Knowledge of tools and technologies -
Spring Framework, EXT JS AngularJS, NodeJS, MicroFocus tools like SilkCentral Test Management, SilkTest, Silk4J, SilkMobile etc.
•Experience working as developer with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and Atlassian tool Java API.
•Experience working with Agile teams
•Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with detailed information.
•Ability to effectively communicate in both verbal and written forms.
•Must be a self-starter capable of working with peers in various geographical locations
