This is a Sr Software Engineer role, reporting to the R&D Team Lead in Business Area - Process Automation based in Bangalore, India. You will be primarily responsible to contribute significantly to successful project results in technology and/or product development by identifying, proposing and implementing innovative solutions. Use unique technical knowledge to oversee development tasks. Working closely with Product Owner and Scrum Master, understand business requirements and help translate these into technical requirements.
Your responsibilities
• Must be able to provide broad technical software support, training, pilots, and consulting services for clients and to carry out the implementation of company software product in Data Center Automation industry and digital project implementation in Data Center Automation industry
• Analyzing and gathering customer requirements and propose appropriate solutions for Data Center Automation projects and work with Project Managers to define scope, features and estimates for new projects
• Planning project activities with local and remote teams and to work directly on development tasks.
• Providing technical leadership, coordinating with other resources, and creating high quality products within the defined schedules and budgets
• Working with customers to define new opportunities for plant level applications and should be proficient or have the capability of becoming proficient at installing, configuring, developing a workflow process, troubleshooting the software, and staying current with upgrades, updates, and patches
• Planning and making technological training for customer key users or internal team also to make clear & concise documentation. Aside from project responsibility, you must also provide strategic training, and customer/application support
Your background
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical and Electronics /computer science engineering
• 6 to 10 years of relevant work experience
• Experience in windows application design and development using .NET framework, .NET Core, C#, ReactJS
• Must have experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, front-end languages, JS-based tools including Jasmin, Bower, Grunt and Gulp
• Should have experience in developing at least one application as a full stack developer, with Message Queue system like RabbitMQ. Should have excellent troubleshooting skills at module, product & system levels using any of the tools like DebugDiag, WinDbg (system internal tools ) with Hands-on Experience in Cloud technologies (Azure)
• Good to have knowledge in of Visual C++, MFC, ATL COM Data Center Automation industry applications & knowledge of any DCS/PLC/SCADA applications will be an added advantage
• Experience in developing REST APIs and Micro Service applications is preferred
