Responsibilities
• Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for scaling and operating Wootcloud’s Cloud solution deployed in AWS.
• Spear head in bringing leading technologies, best practices to the team.
• Refine existing technologies that makes the product more performant while delivering on business requirements.
• Design and implement features baked on with product requirements in collaboration with product managers, other developers and QA.
• Engage in cross functional team conversation to help prioritize tasks, communicate clearly to team members about their goals and overall deliver on business requirements.
Required Technical Skills
• Strong working experience in Linux, AWS, Python, GoLang, MongoDB, Elasticserach, Kafka and other cloud native technologies.
• Strong working experience in scaling and operating large deployments of Kafka, MongoDB.
• Strong experience in developing and scaling ETL pipelines built on top of Apache Spark.
• Rock star in debugging difficult problems, identifying bottlenecks, race conditions.
• Strong experience in scripting and automation.
• Nice to have SQL and SQL based DBs, Data lakes, data warehousing
Qualifications and Experience
• BS/MS in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 8-10 years of work experience with 3+ years of team-lead experience and delivering software.
• Proven hand-on technical experience and with some management experience.
• Experience building software in the security domain will be a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
