Job Description Summary Responsible for software development, successful delivery of assigned functions to meet corporate project/product commitments.
Work includes design, coding, testing, integration, customer testing and delivery of application software in the areas of power system optimization.
Consults with technical leads and domain experts to ensure that project-related system design guidelines are being followed. Ensures quality assurance standards and procedures are followed in all aspects of software development. Job Description Essential Responsibilities Leading end-to-end software development of optimization and grid analysis applications. Support troubleshooting and resolution of identified software issues during system validation and operation. Unit and regression test implementation. Test automation support. Ensure that quality assurance standards and procedures are followed in all aspects of the implementation (documentation, Git update). Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelors/Masters from an accredited university in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science Minimum 5 years of experience in software development Strong proficiency in C++ including standard library, STL containers and memory management.
Good experience in CI/CD processes. Good knowledge in micro services application (Docker) and API implementation (REST, SOAP...) Experience with Scrum and Kanban. Programming skills in Python is desired. Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English mandatory). Desired to have good knowledge on mathematical modeling principles of optimization problems (LP, MIP, QP). Experiences in delivering applications in the Energy domain (Energy Management Systems or Market Management Systems) is strongly appreciated. Desirable to have exposure in and Python etc
