Job Description ¿ SCCM SME The SCCM SME will be responsible for managing day to day Software Installation for Client machines. SCCM admin team acts as a single point of contact for end users to receive support for Software Installation/Troubleshooting the Package issues, Restarting Client Machine Services in case it¿s stopped. This includes Software installing, diagnosing the issue in case of failure, repairing SCCM Client, maintaining and upgrading all Software time to time or need basis, to ensure fulfilment of each such request. The person will also troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone, or via email) in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide Support to creating New Package, Modifying Existing Package, Updating DP, Re Run Advertisements, Creating and Modifying WIM Image, OS troubleshooting in Image part, Adding and removing New Drivers into Image to make sure its work in client environment on all approved models for Desktops and Laptops SCCM Image Creation: Create, manage and administrator SCCM OSD deployment process including the driver library/Group Policy/Active Directory/ WIM image environment via SCCM Create and administer advertisements, programs, collections, and custom reports in SCCM Troubleshoot failed SCCM deployments and SCCM health issues Administer SCCM software delivery including various methods such as running advertised programs, machine targeted, user targeted and large scale deployment Task Sequence: Creating/Modifying task Sequence as per Business needs. SCCM Admin Should able to make all the Changes in OS Image and Task Sequence as per Business requirement while introducing new Models for laptop/Desktop as Standard. Is able to troubleshoot and manage New Package Creation/ Old Package removing/ DP Updating, Able to Define Site Boundaries as per Business requirement. Should be able to Create and generate the reports as per Business requirement. Should be able to create new SCCM Query as per Business need. Manage, support for New Version of Application Deployment across the Globe. Package/Collection/Program/Advertisement Creation/Modification: Should be able to create New Package /Modify Existing package and remove old Package. Should be able to create New Collection /Modify Existing Collection and remove old Collection Should be able to create New program /Modify Existing program and remove old Program Should be able to create New Advertisement /Modify Existing Advertisement and remove old Advertisement. Should be able to work with latest SCCM Environment. Operational Dealing with hardware and application support queries and issues reported to the support desk and escalated to the Desktop Support Administrator Troubleshoot problems associated with network connectivity, and workstation hardware/software Responsible for tracking hardware and software inventory Operates within, enforces, and suggests modifications and additions to desktop standards and guidelines Maintains I.T. records and tracking for area of responsibility Develop sound understanding of IT operations and related applications and IT systems as well as business related processes and procedures Develop technical knowledge of each system within company profile and specialised knowledge of certain nominated areas Additional Skills: Good knowledge in MSI technologies with experience of 5 to 10 years. Good Knowledge in Application compatibility testing using tools like Citrix App DNA, ACT etc.. Good Knowledge in Deployment tools like Microsoft SCCM. Good understanding of enterprise modernization/ Win 10 processes Should be able to perform integration testing in windows /Citrix platform Should be able to play the role of QA and control the quality of deliverables Ability to quickly ramp up on Microsoft offerings Ability to work independently on deliverables to ensure smooth/timely/quality delivery Ability to be able to communicate efficiently on both verbal/written communication channels.
