Responsibilities
Job Description
• Design, develop and deploy secure, scalable, robust and quality solutions for the IOT team.
• Build highly performant, scalable and secure API's using best design practices.
• Work on .Net technologies, SQL and NoSQL DB, Kafka, Timeseries DB, Docker, Kubernetes
• Actively contribute to the adoption of strong architecture, development best practices, and new technologies, build tools that will help automate/simplify existing processes
• Experience in developing cloud software services with a focus on scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Hands-on experience with Web Services, RESTful services, API design are must.
• Understanding of both frontend and backend technologies (API design, message driven applications, micro-services, relational and non-relational databases, big data, scalability, security, etc)
• Experience in following best Coding, Security, Unit testing and Documentation standards and practices and have sound knowledge of Sonarqube
• Experience working with Containerization and Cluster technologies like Docker/Kubernetes
• Experience with the Azure CI/CD pipeline
• Experience with distributed storage and data systems ( e.g. Memcached, Kafka, Redis )
• Experience working in Agile environment
• Database design/data modeling experience and performance tuning of prod systems
• Solid understanding of web development including HTML, CSS, Java Script. React/Redux experience will be a plus
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members during different phases of SDLC cycle.
• Ability to take full ownership of projects and drive them to completion
• Highly motivated with an eagerness to learn and grow both personally and professionally
• Team player with strong analytical skills to solve complex business problems by writing simple, effective code
• A sense of humor
