POSITION PURPOSE
The position is for a Sr Software Engineer within the India eBanking Development and Maintenance team. Staff will be responsible to understand the upcoming requirements, provide optimal design solutions, develop, test and ensure on time delivery as per commitment to management.
Provide Continuous improvement and innovative solutions for the applications and team tasks.
Responsibilities
DIRECT RESPONSIBILITIES
Participating in development for ongoing enhancements & problem tickets for India eBanking platform
Experience in providing solutions to ongoing initiatives for upkeep of eBanking & backend platform applications.
Study user requirement, develop specifications, design, review code and implement systems in line with Group standards and regulatory requirements in order to meet user (business) requirements.
Handle development/design projects using Java, Struts, , Angular JS, J2EE, Oracle, JavaScript, Spring, Tomcat, WAS
CONTRIBUTING RESPONSIBILITIES
Development of e2e functionalities and follow best coding practices, perform code reviews
Further enhance, Trouble-shoot, understand & resolve problems related to existing systems in order to meet user requirements and ensure smooth functioning of IT systems.
TECHNICAL & BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES
1. Enterprise Reporting Platform highly advantageous.
2. Continuous Integration tools and Code auditing tools like Sonar, JUNIT & JMockit, FORTIFY
3. Experience in Oracle PL/SQL
4. Experience in iText, POI API
5. Exposure to Angular 10

Experience in solving performance related issue in Java & Oracle SQL.
Understanding & working experience in Unix & LINUX OS
