What you'll Do:
• Designing and implementing scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant infrastructure on AWS.
• Broad knowledge of many of the: networking, serverless architecture (such as lambda, API gateway, step functions), virtualization, encryption, access controls, alerting, and monitoring
• Creating, managing and maintaining OpenSearch clusters and indices.
• Automating infrastructure and application deployment using tools such as Terraform, Scalr and Ansible.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to the infrastructure and applications.
• Programming in at least two languages (i.e. Python, Go, javascript or Bash)
• Good knowledge of Linux operating system
• Working with CI/CD tools such as jenkins, Cloudbees, Argo/Flux CD
• Collaborating with development teams to ensure that applications are designed for scalability and performance.
• Optimizing AWS costs and implementing cost-saving measures.
• Keeping up to date with the latest developments in cloud computing, Kubernetes, and OpenSearch.
• Will work in the Conferences technology Platform Engineering team to ensure the company’s system and services are reliable, scalable, and performant.
What you'll Need:
We are looking for a senior platform engineer with 4-7 years of experience with specialization in AWS Cloud, Kubernetes who would be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-native infrastructure and applications on the AWS platform.
