Job Description
• Capture and analyze network IP equipment configuration data. Usually data are extracted from EMS or NMS data dumps.
• Knowledge to Extract data from EMS or NMS as per customer availability.
• Knowledge of Routers and Switches, integration & configuration (Juniper, Huawei, Cisco etc).
• Identify missing data in configuration files and work with customer and OEM team to identify how/ where to get the data from (site information, links information...)
• Understanding of E2E connectivity towards destination node at configuration level. Knowledge of Configuration of L2 / L3 VPN, SNMP , Telecom IP communcation. Familiar with Huawei NE 40 , ATN , CX , BRAS devices. Interaction with the Customer and OEM team for all Major and minor issues.
• Understanding of various routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF etc
• Capture and analyze network CORE/RAN/FIxed Access equipment configuration data. Usually data are extracted from EMS or NMS data dumps.
• Knowledge to Extract data from EMS or NMS as per customer availability. Knowledge of CORE/RAN/Fixed Access Nodes (RNC, NodeB, ENodeB, MSC, MGW, MSAN, OLT, BONT etc), integration & configuration. Identify missing data in configuration files and work with customer and OEM team to identify how/ where to get the data from (site information, links information...)
• Understanding of E2E connectivity towards destination node at configuration level.
• Interaction with the Customer and OEM team for all Major and minor issues.
• Understanding of various services used in Fixed Access network such as ILL, TRI, P2P, MPLS etc. Basic knowledge of PL/SQL
