About this role:
Software Development position responsible for design, implementation, and support of Python based web applications to help fulfill our Research & Consulting Delivery strategy.
What you’ll do:
• Designing, implementing, unit, integration testing and supporting Python based applications and services
• Contribute to the review and analysis of business requirements
• Collaborate on architecture and technical design discussions
• Perform and participate in code reviews, peer inspections and technical design/specifications
• Documenting and review detailed design
What you’ll need:
• Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in the field of software development.
• 5+ years’ experience in software development. Web applications development experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of Python programming language experience is required
• Strong experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery is required.
• Experience with relational databases using SQL (SQLServer, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Hands on experience with Django, Flask or other Python frameworks is a plus.
• ReactJS experience is a plus
• Knowledge of integration and web services technologies (HTTP, SOAP, REST, XML, JSON) is a plus.
• Experience with software development in Azure or AWS is a plus
• Scrum software development methodology experience is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with other teams
• Good problem-solving skills
