The shortlisted candidate should have strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Should have an ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts within the team, and is able to work individually or as part of a team to achieve project goals.
You are required to have skills in the following areas:
• Should have 4 to 6 yrs of experience in SSIS, and SQL.
• Should have experience in on-premise SQL environments only: tables, views, stored procedures, SSIS,SSRS, and cubes.
Responsibilities
SQL -
• SQL Stored procedures and User Define scalar Functions (UDFs) to be used in the SSIS packages and SQL scripts.
• Performance tuning of Stored Procedures and T-SQL Queries.
• Expertise knowledge in creating complex Stored Procedures, temp objects, tables, views, Indexes and other SQL joins and statements for applications using SQL Server
• Good knowledge on optimizing all indexes, SQL queries, stored procedures to improve the quality of application.
SSIS -
• Good knowledge on DB Design and implementation on Data Integration and ETL processes with SSIS packages to make data available for reporting purpose within a data warehouse.
• Expertise knowledge in SSIS tool suite, designed and created mappings using various SSIS transformations like OLEDB Command , Conditional Split,Lookup, Aggregator, Multicast and Derived Column.
• Development of custom applications using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to extract data from various sources, transform it, and load it into databases or other data stores
• Filter and cleanse OLTP data with complex store procedures and SSIS packages in the staging area.
• Primary responsibility is to drive design, development and maintenance of data warehouse / ETL processes.
• Works closely with the business intelligence team to understand the data needs / requirements of the organization and implement and support SSIS packages to fulfil those needs.
• Create documentation outlining ETL processes.
• Create, deploy and monitoring of SSIS Packages.
• Maintain SQL scripts, indexes, complex queries for data analysis and extraction.
SSAS -
• Create cubes in SSAS reports which require complex calculations such as calculation of the premium for a particular policy.
• Good experience in writing MDX queries while creating and customizing Cubes using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) .
• Experience in working with SSAS in creating cubes, data source views, named queries, dimensions and deploying of analysis services projects.
• Expertise in identification of Business & Data requirements and converting them into conceptual &logical data models.
• Extensive Knowledge in SSAS storage and partitions, and Aggregations, calculation of queries with MDX , Data Mining Models, developing reports using MDX and SQL.
SSRS -
• Compile user requirements and specifications for reports
• Design, create and test SQL reports using SSRS
• Validate report functionality with internal team/end users
• Respond to users to troubleshoot and/or improve existing reports
• Creation and deployment of the reports using SSRS and configuring the SQL Server Reporting Server
