Scope
• Core responsibilities include Architecting and designing (along with counterparts and distinguished Architects) a ground-up cloud-native (we use Azure) SaaS product using React.JS and its libraries.
• The team currently comprises 60+ global associates across the US, India (COE), and the UK and is expected to grow rapidly.
• The incumbent will need to have leadership qualities to also mentor junior and mid-level software associates in our team.
Our Technical Environment
• Software: React JS, Node JS, Redux, ES6, Express.JS, Next.js, Oracle PL/SQL, GIT, Rest API. Java script.
• Application Architecture: Scalable Multi-Tenant Microservices Architecture
• Cloud Architecture: MS Azure (ARM templates, AKS, HD insight, Application gateway, Virtue Networks, Event Hub, Azure AD).
• Frameworks/Others: Tomcat Apache, Docker, Jenkins, Nginx, Kubernetes, Express.
What You’ll Do
• Develops quality software (including effective test code) according to clean code principles and Blue Yonder standards.
• Provides input for the prioritization of issues in the backlog and autonomously pulls issues or supports other team members as appropriate.
• Participates in team activities such as backlog grooming, planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Translates business requirements to user stories and actively seeks feedback from the stakeholders.
• Takes the lead in the designs of individual stories and translates the design to subtasks.
• Considers aspects of information security while coding and reviewing others' code.
• Keeps up to date with technology and researches the latest trends in the industry.
• Is perceived as the expert in a small area and is the go-to person for related implementational and operational issues.
What We Are Looking For
• BE/B. Tech or ME/M. Tech or MCA with 4.6 to 7 years of experience in Software Development of large and complex enterprise applications.
• Experience in developing enterprise applications using ReactJS, React Native, Next.Js, and Express JS framework.
• Knowledge of the latest features like ES6, React Hooks, Styled-Components, and Service-Worker.
• Expertise in building Cloud apps, and Web apps with Multi-Lingual support.
• Experience in working with version control tools like GIT Hub or Stash is a must.
• Experience in Responsive Web Design (RWD) for Web Applications.
• Experience in working with BFF approach of development.
• Knowledge of Java, and Rest APIs is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of building apps with Docker and using cloud platforms like Azure or AWS is added advantage.
