We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer with expertise in comprehensive end-to-end testing across hardware, firmware, and software domains. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to uphold Pison's impeccable quality standards. Through all stages of the development lifecycle, you will be our advocate for quality excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for developing and executing QA tests for a wearable device product and system including firmware, mobile, and web components.
You will develop and maintain QA deliverables, including comprehensive test plans, meticulous test cases, test reports, and insightful release reports.
You will design and implement test automation using Python, shell scripting, SQL, and other tools.
You will troubleshoot bugs and issues, capturing your findings through detailed documentation and well-structured reports.
You will champion quality assurance through active collaboration with cross-functional teams.
You will contribute towards the team's continual process improvement.
You will perform test automation for web and mobile applications.
Required Skills/Abilities:
You have proven experience in full-cycle product development.
You can own the QA process from initiation to completion, driving continuous improvement.
You have a profound understanding of Software QA methodologies, tools, and approaches.
You are proficient in crafting and automating test cases, maximizing testing efficiency and accuracy.
You have a solid grasp of software lifecycle concepts.
You possess impeccable organizational abilities and attention to detail.
You have strong time management skills, enabling you to handle multiple priorities effectively.
You have experience using Jira and Confluence for streamlined project management and collaboration.
You have prior exposure to testing mobile applications.
Prior exposure to firmware testing is a plus.
Experience bridging hardware and software components is a plus.
Education and Experience:
You have a minimum of 3-5 years in a Quality Assurance role, demonstrating a track record of excellence.
You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technology-related field, such as Computer Science or Engineering.
