Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our Ultrasound team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about software development and testing, with a strong interest in the imaging domain. As an SDET Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Ultrasound products through system integration testing and developing automation solutions.
Responsibilities:
System Integration Testing: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and design comprehensive test plans for system integration testing of Ultrasound products. Test Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using knowledge of GitHub-based development processes, including code commit, branching, raising PRs (Pull Requests), and code review, to ensure smooth collaboration and version control. Test Execution and Analysis: Execute automated test suites and manual exploratory testing, analyze test results, and report defects to drive continuous improvement in product quality. Imaging Domain Knowledge: Utilize your knowledge of the imaging domain to enhance test coverage and effectiveness, ensuring that our Ultrasound products meet the highest quality standards. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with software developers, quality engineers, program manager and product owners to identify testing requirements, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality Ultrasound products. Innovation and Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest technologies and trends in software testing, test automation, and DevOps practices, and contribute innovative ideas to enhance testing processes and methodologies.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in software development and testing, with a focus on test automation.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, C# and Pearl.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Robot Framework, QTP, Record and Playback or similar.
• Familiarity with system integration testing, including end-to-end testing of complex software systems.
• Knowledge of the imaging domain, particularly in medical imaging or Ultrasound, is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Passion for quality assurance and a drive to deliver robust and reliable software solutions.
