Job Description : Urgent opening for Sr. Software Test Engineer/Quality Analyst in IT Company @ Mohali Location Total Experience: 5-6 years Salary : upto 55k Male candidates will be considered in Manual Testing. Job Description: - Manual testing of web and windows based applications, web services testing and integration testing of a complex system. - Strong knowledge of software development process, along with software testing concepts and methodologies - Developing and implementing test plans, test strategy, test cases, test reports and ensuring defect free releases - Responsible for testing of software web applications - products / projects - Build detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases - Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities - Identify, record, document thoroughly and supervise bugs - Collaborate closely with internal teams to identify system requirements - Supervise debugging process results - Provide customer training and develop user help manuals - Should be an expert in Defect Tracking tools such as Mantis etc. - Ability to track and correct key test metrics such as defect density, reopen rate, test coverage etc. - Expertise in testing of the mobile app across various platforms - Strong STLC and SDLC fundamentals - Knowledge of various QA methodologies and techniques - Scheduling testing activities and preparing the test effort estimations. - Manual testing along with involvement in test planning and test case designing - Managing corrective and preventive actions to meet quality standards - Knowledge of API testing and DB testing is plus point
