Key Accountabilities:
• Our primary product is a MERN / MEAN stack-based tools product that our customers use on a daily basis to upload their data, visualize their data, and generate machine learning models amongst many other things.
• We’re fully cloud-native and leverage cutting-edge technology to solve some of the industry’s hard big data, machine learning problems.
• We’re looking for someone to come in and help build features and scale our product for growth.
• You will be expected to play a major role in architectural decisions, help prioritize and plan tasks, and write frontend and backend code for new features.
• The perfect candidate will be eager to collaborate, solve problems, and learn on the fly in a fast-paced, early startup environment.
• We’re looking for someone to come in and help with all aspects of developer tooling and developer operations. Tools we use - Jira, Slack, Github, DataDog, Docker run our stuff on AWS amongst other cloud environments.
• As the sole DevOps engineer, reporting to the Director of Software Engineering, this role will have a very diverse responsibility from monitoring production instances to CI/CD automation as well as migrating to a modern infrastructure as code (IAC) platform.
Key Attributes:
• Working knowledge of build systems (we mostly use AWS CodeBuild).
• Working knowledge of deployment approaches (AWS CodePipeline).
• Working knowledge of automated test practices for infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of Docker, ECS Fargate.
• Working knowledge of infrastructure as code practices(AWS CloudFormation).
• Working knowledge of secure cloud computing best practices.
• Exposure to Cloud implementations using AWS.
• Advanced ability to problem solves/diagnose in a technical space.
• Good technical knowledge of broad business areas
• Work independently; receive minimal guidance.
• Excellent verbal and written business communication skills.
• Excellent team player and contributor.
